Lemon Balm (Melissa) Oil

KC Cloths Lemon Balm (Melissa) Essential Oil is steam-distilled from Melissa officinalis leaves and flowers. Its fresh, slightly herbaceous scent makes it a lovely choice for an aroma ritual or a custom massage blend.

This is a concentrated essential oil. Dilute with a carrier oil before skin use. Supplied in a 20 ml amber glass bottle with pipette.

FOR A DILUTED SKIN BLEND
Mix 1 drop with approximately 10 ml of a plain carrier oil. Patch test the blend, then apply a small amount to intact skin.

FOR AROMA
Add a small amount to a suitable diffuser, following the diffuser manufacturer’s directions. Use in a ventilated space.

FOR MASSAGE
Use your properly diluted carrier oil blend and massage gently onto intact skin.

Do not add undiluted essential oil directly to bathwater or use it as a water-only skin spray.

For external use only. Do not swallow or apply undiluted to skin. Always mix with a carrier oil before skin use and patch test the finished blend. Avoid eyes, lips, broken skin and irritated areas. Stop use if irritation occurs.

If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a healthcare professional before use. Keep out of reach of children and pets. When diffusing, follow your diffuser’s instructions and consider anyone in the room who may be sensitive to scents, including pets. Store tightly closed in a cool, dark place.
