KC Cloths began with something simple – a face cloth.
For Chené, our Founder and CEO, the ritual started at 16. Every evening, no matter how busy life was, she’d wet her cloth with warm water, steam her face and gently remove every trace of the day. What seemed ordinary at the time became the seed of a lifelong passion for simple, natural skincare. She searched for the perfect cloth – one that was gentle yet effective, natural yet reliable. That search would one day grow into KC Cloths.
But KC Cloths is more than just Chené’s story – it’s a story of friendship. The brand itself grew from a bond: ‘K’ for Kim and ‘C’ for Chené. While Kim went on her own ventures, the connection between them laid the foundation for the values and vision that KC Cloths embodies today.
Anike, our COO, met Chené over 21 years ago when they became best friends in school. Life eventually took them on different paths – Anike explored interior design, hairstyling, creativity and administration while Chené continued to pursue her dream. Through it all, they were still in contact.
Years later, while Anike was searching for a deeper purpose, fate brought them back together. A single conversation about KC Cloths’ vision changed everything. Combining Chené’s creativity and drive with Anike’s diverse skills and passion, they realized they could grow KC Cloths into something truly meaningful.
From long nights filled with hard work and laughter to countless shared memories, KC Cloths grew from a personal ritual into a brand that now inspires others to embrace the beauty of natural skincare.
Today, KC Cloths is more than cloths and oils – it’s a reflection of friendship, trust and dedication. Alongside their incredible team, Chené and Anike have built a brand rooted in values that matter: simplicity, authenticity and care for both people and the planet. Behind every cloth, every bottle and every package is a story. Strangers became friends who shared a dream that grew into a vision and that vision evolved into the KC Cloths family.
